Media is something we consume , critique and live of off in our day to day lives and throughout most of history , media has been mostly physical such  ,as feats of athletic superiority was seen as entertainment in every era excluding the last 120 years , that is why in the purpose of this article I am going to explain and critique media from before the age of motion pictures and after.

Before Motion Pictures

Media before motion pictures was quite barbaric in alot of senses , men got their laughs of seeing other poorer men fight in a box to the death and this was made into a sequel again but this time they had a chance!

Jousting is a sequel to the gladiatorship we saw in the BCs but this time they're are alot of key diffrences such as :

- This time it was a mock-battle

- The combatants are no longer slaves but rather knights

- It is voluntary

Think of Jousting as a PG 13 version of the gladiators.
